Dr. Dundas lived in Westchester as a child before moving upstate to a dairy-farming community near the Adirondacks. Veterinary Medicine was her calling, though she received degrees in Anthropology and Biology before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She practiced at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital in Dutchess County for six years and is excited to be returning to Westchester to serve pets and their people at LVC.
Dr. Dundas is a certified Fear Free practitioner. Fear Free training gives veterinary professionals the tools to alleviate animals’ stress and anxiety during office visits. She is also certified in Animal Hospice and Palliative Care by the American Animal Hospital Association. Her other professional interests include dentistry, ultrasound and infectious disease.
Dr. Dundas serves on the board of the Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family, which includes a deaf Boxer, a leopard gecko and cat.
